IV. GENERAL AND INDIVIDUAL FACILITY SPILL PREVENTION CONTROL AND <br /> COUNTERMEASURE PLAN <br /> This section is divided into two parts. The first part describes the general <br /> Sharpe Complex Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure Plan (SPCCP) , and <br /> the second part presents a specific SPCCP for the individual facilities. <br /> A. General Facility SPCCP <br /> The following subsection describes the various procedures included in <br /> Sharpe' s general SPCCP. <br /> 1 . Purpose: As required by 40 CFR, part 265, subpart D, a Contingency <br /> PPTananand Emergency Procedures will be added to the Spill Plan. The <br /> purpose of this modified Plan is to set procedures in the event of <br /> fires, explosions, or any unplanned sudden or non-sudden release of <br /> hazardous waste to air, soil , or surface water. A spill of hazardous <br /> waste or chemicals has been covered earlier. <br /> 2. Procedure: In the event of a fire, explosion, or sudden and non- <br /> sudden release of hazardous waste. <br /> a. The area should be evacuated of <br /> personnel . <br /> b. Call the Fire Department.
