The Emergency Coordinator should assess the situation, identify the <br /> character, exact source, amount, and real extent of any released materials. <br /> The Emergency Coordinator must identify possible hazards to human health or <br /> the environment by release, fire, or explosion. If the Emergency Coordinator <br /> determines that the facility has had a release which could threaten human <br /> health or the environment outside the depot, he must report his findings as <br /> follows to the local authorities. <br /> Manteca Police Business Phone: 239-8410 <br /> Manteca Fire Department Emergency: 911 <br /> Business Phone: 239-8435 <br /> Additional assistance may be obtained from nearby fire stations that are <br /> members of the San Joaquin County Fire Department Mutual Aid Agreement. <br /> San Joaquin Office of Emergency 468-3962 <br /> Services <br /> After duty hours contact Sheriff Dept 468-4400 <br /> The government agency which should be notified is: <br /> The Regional Response Team or 415-556-6254 <br /> The National Response Center 800-424-3302 <br /> The following should be reported: <br /> (a) Name and telephone number of reporter. <br /> (b) Name and address of facility. <br /> (c) Time and type of incident (i.e. , release, explosion, fire) . <br /> (d) Name and quantity of materials involved to the extent known. <br /> (e) The extent of injuries. <br /> (f) The possible hazards to human health or the environment outside the <br /> facility. <br /> e. During the emergency, the Emergency Coordinator must take all reasonable <br /> measures necessary to ensure that fires, explosions, and releases do not <br /> occur, recur, or spread. <br /> f. If the facility stops operations in response to a fire, explosion, or <br /> release; leaks ruptures in valves, pipes or other equipment should be <br /> monitored. <br /> IV-2 <br /> 2-7-92 <br />
