Waste Minimization Certification <br /> The owner and/or operator shall certify the following <br /> annually, by March 1 for the previous year ending <br /> December 31, that: <br /> 1. The facility has a program in place to reduce the <br /> volume and toxicity of all hazardous wastes listed <br /> in Table V-1 of the approved Part B Permit <br /> Application, dated November 15, 1990, which are <br /> generated by the facility operations to the <br /> degree, determined by the owner and/or operator, <br /> to be economically practicable. <br /> 2 . The method of storage is the only practicable <br /> method or combination of methods currently <br /> available to the facility which minimizes the <br /> present and future threat to human health and the <br /> environment. <br /> The owner and/or operator shall make this <br /> certification, in accordance with Cal. Code of Regs. , <br /> • Title 22 , Section 66270 . 11. The owner and/or operator <br /> shall submit the certification to the Region I Regional <br /> Administrator and shall record and maintain on-site <br /> such certification in the facility Operating Record. <br /> Q. Waste Minimization Conditions <br /> 1. The owner and/or operator shall comply with the <br /> Hazardous Waste Source Reduction and Management <br /> Review Act requirements that are specified in the <br /> H&SC, Sections 25244 . 19 , 25244 . 20 and 25244 . 21, <br /> and any subsequent applicable promulgations. <br /> 2 . The owner and/or operator shall submit a copy of <br /> all plans, plan summaries, review and plans, and <br /> reports and report summaries required by <br /> Section II .P. 1 above, to the Region I Regional <br /> Administrator on or before September 1, 1992 , and <br /> by September 1 every four years thereafter. <br /> 3 . The Region I Regional Administrator may require <br /> the facility to submit a more detailed status <br /> report explaining any deviation from, or changes <br /> to, the approved waste minimization plan. <br /> -9- z <br />
