The surrounding landscape is dominated by industrial <br /> and agricultural land use, however, residential developments are being <br /> planned and constructed on land adjacent to Sharpe, to the west of the <br /> facility. Approximately 27 registered historical buildings are located in San <br /> Joaquin county. One cultural resource, Site CA-SJ009983, is approximately <br /> 1.5 miles northwest of the installation.
