r <br /> r <br /> 4 PROJECT CONTROLS <br /> r <br /> r <br /> 4.1 Health and Safety Plan <br /> 1 The attached Health and Safety Plan includes general and specific safety orders as well <br /> as a site specific listing of responsibilities and contacts The Appendix A, Health and <br /> safety Plan will be reviewed by all site personnel and initialed <br /> 4.2 Work Schedule <br /> Scheduling of characterization work has considered the following The source of <br /> additional contaminants has been removed Equipment and manpower resources are <br /> ravailable at present Work will be performed by WO&S using subcontracted equipment <br /> and manpower under the direction of D K Barber P E and Associates Technical <br /> guidance and sampling will be carried out by a licensed civil engineer responsible to <br /> WO&S <br /> Following agency review, comments, and approval of the workplan, site layout, <br /> underground utility location, and well drilling permit application will commence <br /> immediately Borings and collection of groundwater and laboratory analysis <br /> monitoring well construction tentative scheduling is for 4 November 2003 with <br /> rduration to be two to six weeks depending upon extent of borings, laboratory <br /> findings and weather Two weeks turnaround time for all state certified laboratory <br /> testing is anticipated unless quicker turnaround time would benefit the project, in which <br /> case, turnaround time may be shortened at greater cost <br /> An interim Phase 11 report will be prepared by D K Barber P E & Associates for <br /> forwarding to the overseeing agency with information copy as required by WO&S after <br /> field work is completed The target completion date of sampling at the Acampo Plant Site <br /> is December 30, 2003 Completion date will be highly dependent upon weather delays <br /> and any further testing incurred after planned Phase II characterization <br /> r <br /> 4-1 <br /> r <br />
