EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The depth to groundwater was measured and water samples were collected from five monitor wells
and the Gillies domestic well on June 8,2000 One of the monitor wells had been buried under road
aggregate during recent gradmg activities and could not be located, and the monitor well on the
adjacent property could not be sampled because the property owner was present for only a short
tune The depth to groundwater m most wells was approximately 3 feet deeper than in April, and
ranged between 47 and 50 feet As was true in April 1999, the groundwater flow direction is
somewhat difficult to interpret and multiple interpretations are possible, but we favor the
interpretation that the flow direction is to the southeast, toward the domestic well on the Barbot
property located at 3851 Newton Road
All samples were analyzed for TPH-diesel, TPH-gasoline and BTEX The sample from GT-10 was
also analyzed for gasoline oxygenates Diesel and various gasoline compounds were detected in
four of the six samples, at concentrations that are generally quite close to those in April 2000 and
December 1999 Diesel was not detected in the Gillies domestic well
1
