According to thew Ste records on site,the used antifreeze was was last picked up on 1/19/2018. <br /> The used oil underground st rage tank label was labeled with the incorrect accumulation start date. According to <br /> the waste records on site,th used oil was last picked up on 2/6/2018. <br /> One card board box full of m tal grindings was observed in the tune-up area near the brake gander. The manager <br /> on site, Xavier Hernandez,st ted that the waste was going to be disposed of as hazardous. The container was <br /> observed with no hazardous aste labeling. <br /> A rolling cart filled with used it was observed in the tune-up area. According to Xavier Hernandez,the container is <br /> emptied out into the used oil ank once it is filled. He said it usually happens every three months. The container <br /> was observed with no hazard us waste labeling. <br /> A bottle(approximately 18 fl z)was observed filled with used brake fluid in the tune-up are. The employee on site <br /> stated that he empties the bo le when it gets full. The container was missing the words"hazardous waste", <br /> contents,the physical state,t e hazardous waste properties,the accumulation start date and the name and address <br /> of the generator. <br /> One black steel 55 gallon dru was observed in the storage area behind the tune-up shop labeled"oily solids-paper <br /> filters." The container was mi sing the accumulation start date. According to the waste records on site,the <br /> accumulation start date is 1/1 /2018. <br /> All hazardous waste containe s shall be marked with the following information: <br /> -the words"Hazardous W ste" <br /> -name and address of ge erator <br /> -hazardous properties(ig itable,toxic, corrosive, reactive) <br /> -physical state(liquid, soli ) <br /> -composition(contents) <br /> -accumulation start date <br /> Immediately label these conta ners and ensure that all containers are marked with all the required information. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Cla II. <br /> 608 CCR 66266.130 Failed to pro erly manage used oil and fuel filters. <br /> Three 55 gallon container dru s were observed containing used oil filters and fuel filters in the storage area behind <br /> the tune-up shop. The drums ere observed not completely closed. Used oil and fuel filters shall be drained of <br /> free-flowing oil,stored in a CIO ed, rainproof container, labeled as"drained used oil and gasoline filters,"and marked <br /> with an accumulation start dat . Immediately ensure that all used oil filters are managed in this way. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> An inspection checklist was provi ed to the facility operator on the day of inspection.
