The elevation of the piezometric surface has declined by less than 1 foot since July This drop is
due to the seasonal increases in agricultural use and evaporation
The piezometric surface could not be mapped this quarter due to the lack of information on the
depth to groundwater in GT-2 In previous quarters, groundwater flow appeared to be
southward
4.0 CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
The depth to groundwater has increased slightly in recent months, but groundwater remains above
the screened interval in the wells It is unlikely that reliable analytical data can be obtained during
the next few quarters, because groundwater elevations will probably rise further during the winter
of 1995-96 Groundwater depth measurements should continue on a quarterly basis, and the next
monitoring should be scheduled for mud-December Groundwater samples should be obtained
when the water table drops below 75 feet, which may not occur before the summer of 1996
•
