Boring B-7 was drilled in the parking lot next to the City of Stockton Neighborhood Services building in an area that was once occupied by an Auto Electric Service and Painting facility. Soil samples were collected at 5 and 15 feet in depth. Groundwater was sampled below 20 feet in depth. The soil samples were non-detect for all compounds tested. Weathered diesel at 0.18 mg/L was present in the water sample. Boring B-8 was drilled near a historic underground fuel tank mentioned above and in the ENSR Report in the vicinity of the existing Police Annex. According to the historical records two underground fuel tanks were located in the area of the sidewalk. Auto garages and service stations were also located on the Police Annex and American Savings Bank sites. A 72-inch storm drain line, other utilities and the current structure precluded access to the area in front of the Annex. The boring was drilled between the American Savings Bank and the Annex. Soil samples were collected at 10 and 20 feet in depth, Groundwater was sampled below 20 feet in depth. 7200 mg/Kg of oil was present in the 10 foot soil sample and not in the 20 foot sample. Ground water was non- detect for all compounds analyzed. The concentration of oil is consistent with the 1,100 to 21,000 mg/Kg of TEPH found in the soils around the American Savings Bank.
