A copy of the preliminary site <br /> operations and maintenance manual is included in the technical <br /> report. <br /> Please advise us on the applicable permit fee for the Waste <br /> Discharge Permit. <br /> A. WASTE DISCHARGE PERMIT <br /> ADDITIONAL INFORMATION REQUIREMENTS <br /> 1. Location <br /> Point of discharge will be through a series of three shallow <br /> injection wells (IW1, MW4, and MW7) . Figure 1 in the attached <br /> technical report indicates the general topography of the area. <br /> Figure 2 illustrates the land use around the site. Figure 3 <br /> is the site plan with all the existing wells indicated and <br /> illustrates the location of the discharge points (IW1, MW4, <br /> and MW7) . <br /> 2 . Type <br /> The waste stream will be treated groundwater with all <br /> hydrocarbon constituents concentrations below California MCL's <br /> for drinking water. <br /> 3 . Ouantity <br /> Volume of water discharged into the injection wells will be 15 <br /> gpm for a total of 21, 600 gpd. The total capacity of the <br /> remediation system will be 20 gpm/ 28,800 gpd (maximum) . The <br /> excess water will be permitted and disposed of into the storm <br /> sewer. The treatment system is expected to be operating <br /> continuously. <br /> 4 . Quality <br /> The water discharged from the remediation system, after <br /> passing through the airstripper, and polished with two <br /> activated carbon canisters, will have all hydrocarbon <br /> constituents below California MCL's for drinking water. <br /> Influent water quality data is presented in Table 5 and 6 in <br /> the attached technical report. <br />
