#EO-95-007-PP <br /> 7 . 5 Summary of Site Risks <br /> This. section should briefly summarize the extent of <br /> contamination at the site and the risks to human health <br /> and/or to the environment using information developed <br /> during the RI . <br /> a) Provide an overview of the baseline risk assessment, <br /> by describing: <br /> 1) Chemicals of concern; <br /> 2) Exposure pathways and populations (e.g. , routes of <br /> exposure, current and future reasonable maximum <br /> exposure assumptions, including land-use) ; <br /> 3) Current and potential future site risks (including <br /> both carcinogenic and noncarcinogenic threats) ; - <br /> b) Discuss environmental risks (s) , as appropriate, i .e. , <br /> ecological receptors, potential receptors, potential <br /> exposures, and potential effects of exposures; and <br /> c) Discuss determination of ' cleanup levels (including <br /> appropriate state/federal requirements) . <br /> 7 . 6 Summary and Evaluation of Alternatives . Briefly describe <br /> the alternatives evaluated in the detailed analysis of the <br /> Feasibility Study to include : Engineering components, <br /> treatment components, estimated present worth cost, <br /> capital and operation and maintenance costs, <br /> implementation time, and the major regulatory requirements <br /> associated with the alternative (s) . <br /> a) Introduce the nine evaluation criteria. <br /> (See Appendix VIII . ) <br /> b) Briefly discuss and evaluate each alternative (s) <br /> against the nine evaluation criteria. <br /> (See Appendix VIII for a sample text and matrix <br /> table (s) . ) <br /> c) Identify the proposed alternative . <br /> d) Provide the rationale for the proposed alternative by <br /> highlighting how it compares with the other <br /> alternatives (major advantages and disadvantages) . <br /> Regulatory and community acceptance should be <br /> addressed to the extent adequate information is <br /> available 'at the- time. <br /> - 11 - 11/16/95 <br />
