This sample will be split into
equal portions to bench test treatment methods. One sample, identified as the "control" will not
be. treated but will be analyzed for STLC lead, STLC lead using water as the extraction liquid,
TCLP lead and pH. These results will establish a baseline. Up to four soil treatment mixtures
will be added to the remaining portions using portland cement and pozzolan (fly ash) with lime.
Following application of the treatment chemicals, these samples will be analyzed for STLC lead.
Should they pass the STLC test, additional analyses may not be necessary.
Our cost estimate for the workscope outlined is$4,792. The attached Exhibit A provides more
detail on the estimated costs.
We can begin work upon your authorization of this change order request.
