Schedule of Correction Violation #1 (a) : Effective immediately, Roy' s Auto Wrecking shall stop draining waste oil and other automotive fluids such as transmission fluid or radiator fluids onto the ground. The waste oil and other fluids shall be segregated and put into separate drums. The drums shall be labeled and stored in accordance with Section 66508 , Title 22 , Ca. Code Regs. until the wastes are picked up for recycling or disposal. Violation #1 (b) : The sump must be cleaned of its contents and the contents managed as hazardous waste. The clean-up of the sump must be completed within 45 days of the receipt of this Report. The extent of the soil contamination will also reed to be determined. Within 9.0 days of receipt of this Report, a Soil Sampling Plan shall be submitted to this office at the letterhead address to the attention of Mark Leary. The plan shall be prepared by a firm qualified to prepare such a plan. Once approved by DHS, the conductance of the plan shall be initiated. Violation #2 : Effective immediately, all hazardous wastes shall be managed in accordance with Section 66508, Title 22 , Ca. Code Regs. . The plans required in Article 19 and Article 20, Title 22, Ca. Code Regs. shall be completed and available for DHS review within 60 days of receipt of this Report. Violation #3 : Effective immediately, all waste oil shall be manifested off-site in accordance with procedures outlined in Section 25250. 8, Division 20, Health and Safety Code. All other hazardous wastes shall be manifested off-site in accordance with Section 25163, Division 20, Health and Safety code. A copy of the hazardous waste generator requirements and used oil requirements have been included to aid you in complying with this Report. When all violations have been corrected, please send written certification to this office at the letterhead address. This certification shall contain the sample certification statement indicated on Attachment 1. The Department will conduct a reinspection of Roy' s Auto Wrecking to verify compliance.
