AGE-NC-07-1517 <br /> 17 March 2008 <br /> Page 4 of 7 <br /> the site by L&B Environmental under manifest to Forward Landfill for proper disposal. <br /> Approximately 37.42 tons of excavated petroleum hydrocarbon and metal-impacted soil was loaded <br /> and transported from the site by L&B Environmental under manifest to Kettlemen Hills Facility for <br /> proper disposal. Landfill manifests and weight tags are included as Appendix B. <br /> 3.0. FINDINGS <br /> The impact to the stockpiles and excavations were based on analytical results of soil samples. <br /> 3.1. ANALYTICAL RESULTS OF SOIL SAMPLES <br /> A discussion of laboratory results of soil samples collected during excavation procedures is detailed <br /> below. <br /> 3.1.1. Analytical Results of Soil Samples Collected from Excavation Stockpiles for Landfill <br /> Disposal <br /> The following analytes were reported in the soil samples collected on 06 and 07 December 2007 and <br /> O1 February 2008: <br /> • Benzene was reported in soil stockpile sample ABC-1 at a concentration of 0.008 mg/kg. <br /> • Toluene was reported in soil stockpile samples ABC-1 and C1 in concentrations of <br /> 0.012 mg/kg and 0.020 mg/kg, respectively. <br /> • Total xylenes were reported in soil stockpile samples ABC-1, ABC-2, C1 and C3 at <br /> concentrations ranging from 0.026 mg/kg (ABC-2)to 0.140 mg/kg (ABC-1). <br /> • Utilizing hydrochloric acid for extraction,chromium was reported in soil stockpile samples <br /> ABC-1, ABC-2, C1 and C3 at concentrations ranging from 36 mg/kg (0) to 43 mg/kg <br /> (ABC-1 and ABC-2). <br /> • Utilizing hydrochloric acid for extraction, lead was reported in stockpile soil samples <br /> ABC-1, ABC-2, C1 and C2 at concentrations ranging from 190 mg/kg (0) to 440 mg/kg <br /> (ABC-1). <br /> • Utilizing hydrochloric acid for extraction, nickel was reported in stockpile soil samples <br /> ABC-1, ABC-2, Cl and C2 at concentrations ranging from 19 mg/kg (0) to 31 mg/kg <br /> (ABC-1). <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc. <br />
