AGE-NC-07-1517 <br /> 17 March 2008 <br /> Page 5 of 7 <br /> • Utilizing hydrochloric acid for extraction, zinc was reported in stockpile soil samples <br /> ABC-1, ABC-2, Cl and C2 at concentrations ranging from 150 mg/kg(ABC-2 and C3)to <br /> 250 mg/kg(ABC-1). <br /> • Utilizing the STLC WET extraction by USEPA method 6010B, lead was reported in <br /> stockpile soil samples at concentrations ranging from 0.65 mg/L (ABC-2) to 7.1 mg/L <br /> (ABC-1). <br /> • Utilizing the TCLP extraction by USEPA method 6010B/1311, lead was reported in <br /> stockpile soil sample ABC-1 at a concentration of mg/l. , <br /> • The stockpile soil sample analysis for lead is depicted in Figure 5. <br /> 3.1.2. Analytical Results of Soil Samples Collected from Excavation Sidewalls and Floors <br /> The following analytes were reported in the soil samples collected on 06 and 07 December 2007 and <br /> O1 February 2008: <br /> • Ethylbenzene was reported in sidewall soil sample NEWS3 at a concentration 0.016 mg/kg. <br /> • Total xylenes were reported in sidewall and floor soil samples NEWS2 and NEWS3 at <br /> concentrations of 0.010 mg/kg and 0.102 mg/kg, respectively. <br /> • Utilizing hydrochloric acid for extraction,chromium was reported in sidewall and floor soil <br /> samples NEB1 through NEB4, NENS, NESS, NEWS1 through NEWS3, and NEES1 <br /> through NEES 3 at concentrations ranging from 33 mg/kg (NEES3) TO 110 mg/kg <br /> (BNEWSN). <br /> • Utilizing hydrochloric acid for extraction, lead was reported in sidewall and floor soil <br /> samples NEB2,NEB 4,NENS,NESS,NEWS 1 through NEWS3,NEES 1 through NEES3, <br /> SES1 through SES3, BNEWSN and BNEWSS at concentrations ranging from 3.5 mg/kg <br /> (NEB2)to 690 mg/kg (NEWS I). <br /> • Utilizing hydrochloric acid for extraction, nickel was reported in sidewall and floor soils <br /> samples NEB 1 through NEB4,NENS,NESS,NEWS 1 through NEWS3,SEB,SES 1 through <br /> SES3, BNEWSN and BNEWSS at concentrations ranging from 23 mg/kg (NEES3) to 57 <br /> mg/kg (BNEWSN). <br /> • Utilizing hydrochloric acid for extraction, zinc was reported in sidewall and floor soil <br /> samples NEB 1 through NEB4,NENS,NESS,NEWS 1 through NEWS3,SEB,SES 1 through <br /> SES3, BNEWSN and BNEWSS at concentrations ranging from 35 mg/kg (SEB) to 260 <br /> mg/kg (NEWS2). <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc. <br />
