Additionally, oil products (motor oil
and waste oil) are stored in six ASTs located at the Facility (Tire Shop).
2.8.2. Hours of Operation and Personnel
The on-site tire shop of the facility has hours of operation between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM
Monday to Friday. Three B's Truck &Auto Plaza Staff are on-site 24 hours per day, seven
days per week.
2.8.3. Facility Figures
The Facility location map is included as Figure 1. The Facility site diagram (Figure 2)
includes: the location of oil containers, buildings, and transfer areas and critical spill
control structures.
2.8.4. Facility Location
The site is located adjacent to Interstate 5, approximately 5 miles west of Lodi, California,
at 14749 North Thornton Road (Figure 1). The site is situated in a topographically flat
area at an approximate elevation of 10 feet above mean sea level (MSL), within the
southeast quarter of Section 11, Township 3 North, Range 5 East, Mount Diablo Base
and Meridian (Terminous Quadrangle, 7.5-Minute USGS Topographic Series, 1978).
2.8.5. Facility Operating Structures and Areas
The Facility includes: one main mini-mart building, parking surrounds the main building.
A separate truck maintenance shop (tire & oil service) is located at the northwest area of
the facility.
Diesel and gasoline fuel are stored within three double walled ASTs and a fuel loading
area. All three ASTs are located in a west section of the Facility, and within concrete lined
secondary containment.
2.9. OIL STORAGE
Oil storage at the Facility consists of five fuel, double-walled ASTs at the west end of the
parking area, six (6) new oil ASTs and one waste oil double-walled AST. One of the large
double-walled ASTs is a split tank totaling 10,000-gallons of petroleum. Additionally,
multiple 55-gallon drums are located at the southeast corner of the Tire Shop for waste
storage of absorbent spill material and spent oil filters. The approximate locations where
oil is stored is illustrated in Figure 2.
