A letter from the water supplier will be required which states that they have the capacity to serve the development and that the system meets State standards prior to recording the Final Map. 4. BUILDING INSPECTION DIVISION: a. A grading plan shall be submitted by the applicant, and it shall be approved and a grading permit issued by the Building Inspection Division prior to any excavation or filing of earth material. b. The grading plan shall contain the information listed in the U.B.C., Appendix, Chapter'70, Section 7006(1). C. The grading plan shall include complete drainage details and elevations of the adjacent parcels. Retaining wall details shall be submitted where applicable. d. Grading in excess of 5,000 cubic yards shall comply with Section 7014 for 'Engineered Grading Requirements.' e. All recommendations of the soils engineer shall be incorporated in the grading plan. f. All compaction reports must be submitted prior to a foundation inspection. g. All grading permits are subject to approval by the other departments. h. All grading authorized by the permit shall be approved prior to issuance of any building permits or the beginning of any construction. II i. This application requires a discretionary approval (i.e.,Tentative Map, Site Approval, Use Permit). Therefore, a grading permit will not be issued until this approval is obtained. 5. MONTEZUMA FIRE DISTRICT: a. The water system shall meet U.F.C. Section 10.301-C subdivision standards. b. The developer shall be required to install fire hydrants every 300 feet and advise the fire chief when they are installed. (U.F.C. Section 10.301-C) C. The fire hydrants shall have two 2'/cinch and one 41/2-inch connections. d. The developer shall mark all fire hydrants with a blue reflector on the street. (U.F.C. Section 10.301-D) e. The developer shall provide up-to-date plot plans for all development.
