Item No. 4 <br /> PC: 2-18-93 <br /> SU-93-1 <br /> Page 9 <br /> b. Connection to an approved public water supply system is required. A letter from the <br /> water supplier will be required which states that they have the capacity to serve the <br /> development and that the system meets State standards prior to recording the Final Map. <br /> 4. BUILDING INSPECTION DIVISION: <br /> a. A grading plan shall be submitted by the applicant, and it shall be approved and a <br /> grading permit issued by the Building Inspection Division prior to any excavation or filing <br /> of earth material. <br /> b. The grading plan shall contain the information listed in the U.B.C., Appendix, Chapter'70, <br /> Section 7006(1). <br /> C. The grading plan shall include complete drainage details and elevations of the adjacent <br /> parcels. Retaining wall details shall be submitted where applicable. <br /> d. Grading in excess of 5,000 cubic yards shall comply with Section 7014 for 'Engineered <br /> Grading Requirements.' <br /> e. All recommendations of the soils engineer shall be incorporated in the grading plan. <br /> f. All compaction reports must be submitted prior to a foundation inspection. <br /> g. All grading permits are subject to approval by the other departments. <br /> h. All grading authorized by the permit shall be approved prior to issuance of any building <br /> permits or the beginning of any construction. <br /> II <br /> i. This application requires a discretionary approval (i.e.,Tentative Map, Site Approval, Use <br /> Permit). Therefore, a grading permit will not be issued until this approval is obtained. <br /> 5. MONTEZUMA FIRE DISTRICT: <br /> a. The water system shall meet U.F.C. Section 10.301-C subdivision standards. <br /> b. The developer shall be required to install fire hydrants every 300 feet and advise the fire <br /> chief when they are installed. (U.F.C. Section 10.301-C) <br /> C. The fire hydrants shall have two 2'/cinch and one 41/2-inch connections. <br /> d. The developer shall mark all fire hydrants with a blue reflector on the street. (U.F.C. <br /> Section 10.301-D) <br /> e. The developer shall provide up-to-date plot plans for all development. <br />
