V <br /> Mr. Kevin Ramstrom General Manager <br /> Mr. Ramstrom, General Manager, is the company Safety Officer and has <br /> the final decision making authority, concerning this project. <br /> Mr. Steve Shongood Project manager <br /> Mr. Shongood will administer monthly supervisor Safety Meetings. These <br /> meetings will be used to: <br /> • Discuss and educate supervisors on new regulations and requirements. Establish <br /> implementation procedures and operational changes necessary for successful <br /> implementation. <br /> • Review all accidents and "near misses" from the previous month as documented in <br /> the accident report and safety meeting report form. Conduct a group evaluation of <br /> all accident investigation reports. The intent of the evaluation is to provide <br /> guidelines to establish procedures that will prevent future accidents. <br /> • Discuss any current hazardous or potentially hazardous conditions existing on the <br /> projects in progress, and evaluate safety procedures in effect for adequacy. <br /> • Prepare and administer The Work Plan. <br /> Mr. Shongood will also be a participant in any accident investigation <br /> required on this project. <br /> Project Superintendent Will be Assigned in the Letter of Superintendence Submittal <br /> The Project Superintendent, is the supervisory representative and on-site <br /> safety officer in Mr. Shongood's absence. He is responsible for ensuring <br /> compliance with this plan, the Work Plan(attached), the Site Safety Plan <br /> (attached), our Injury/Illness and Prevention Program-IIPP (included for <br /> your reference) and OSHA standards. He will ensure that all <br /> subcontractors and employees are fully briefed and comply with this pian. <br /> In the case of conflict between this plan, the work plan, the site safety plan, <br /> our IIPP and OSHA standards, the most stringent shall apply. The <br /> superintendent has the authority to direct the cessation of operations <br /> effected by any noncompliance until corrected. <br /> The Project Superintendent is responsible for the following duties: <br /> • Prepare, administer and control the Site Safety Plan(will be furnished to the <br /> regulatory agencies a minimum of 72 hours prior to UST removal). <br /> • Brief employees on the site safety plan before entering the site. <br /> • Implement the Injury/Illness Prevention Program, IIPP (included), at the project <br /> level. <br />
