Based on the groundwater flow direction and the location of the this site,
we do not expect this site to impact the subject property.
• Market Street Parkiniz, 134_South Sutter Street
This site is located approximately 325 feet southeast of the subject property and is
listed on the LUST and UST/AST databases. Four USTs were removed from this
site between October 1988 and February 1989. Soil samples were collected and
analyzed after the UST removals; 110 mg/kg total petroleum hydrocarbons as diesel
(TPH-D) was detected in a soil sample collected from under one of the diesel USTs.
Additional excavation was conducted to remove the contaminated soil. Based on the
location of this site and the groundwater flow directions identified at nearby sites, we
do not expect this site to impact the subject property.
•
County Parking Garage/CountyGarage/County Motor Pool 130 North Hunter Street
This site is located approximately 475 feet northwest of the subject property and is
listed on the LUST and UST/AST databases. According to the case file, two USTs
storing gasoline and diesel fuel are planned to be removed. During a pre-removal
subsurface assessment of USTs, soil contamination was identified. Based on the
location of this site and the groundwater flow directions identified at nearby sites,
this site has only a slight potential to impact the subject property.
• Weber Enterprises, 141 North El Dorado Street
This site is located approximately 750 feet northwest of the subject property and is
listed on the LUST, Cortese, and UST/AST databases. Seven monitoring wells are
located on this site. Maxima of 47,000 micrograms per liter (mg/L) TPH-G, 2,600
µg/L benzene, 8,300 µg/L toluene, 2,200 FcgIL ethylbenzene, 9,500 µglL xylenes have
been detected historically in groundwater samples collected from these monitoring
wells. A remediation system consisting of groundwater extraction and oxygenation,
and vapor extraction was installed onsite. By April 1996, 37 pounds of gasoline had
been removed by groundwater extraction and 3,263 pounds of gasoline had been
removed by vapor extraction. Groundwater samples were collected from the wells
and analyzed; no TPH-G or benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and xylenes (BTEX)
were detected in the samples. The remediation system was turned off temporarily to
allow TPH concentrations to recover before switching the system back on. The
groundwater flow direction was identified to be southeast towards the subject
property. The subject property is potentially at risk from releases at this site or may
be impacted in the future.
• Stockton Police 22 East Market Street
This site is located approximately 750 feet southwest of the subject property and is
on the LUST, Cortese, and UST/AST databases. A monitoring well was installed
KAEM R\P7044H%70448 R00.232
