12 July 2005 <br /> AGE-NC Project No. 05-1263 <br /> Page 2 of 5 <br /> north of the subject property. <br /> — The estimated depth to ground water at the site is approximately 50 feet below surface grade(bsg), <br /> based on the map entitled Lines ofEqual Depth to Groundwater Spring 1999, published by the San <br /> Joaquin County Flood Control District and Water Conservation District (FCD&WCD). The map <br /> entitled Lines ofEqual Elevation of Groundwater Spring 1999, also published by the FCU&WCD, <br /> shows the property to be in an area where ground water flows toward the south-southeast, but this <br /> w may be modified by changing recharge and discharge patterns. Ground water is considered to be of <br /> beneficial use and is used for domestic, industrial and commercial purposes. <br /> 3.0, PROCEDURES <br /> The field work reported herein was performed in accordance with procedures outlined in the AGE- <br /> prepared Limited Subsurface Investigation Work Plan, dated 09 March 2005, <br /> 3.1. DRILLING <br /> On 21 March 2005, six soil probe borings (P-1 through P-6) were advanced at the site utilizing a <br /> van-mounted Geoprobe 5400 direct-push probing unit equipped with 125-inch probing rods. <br /> • Boring P-1 was advanced to a total depth of 15 feet bsg in the south end of the southern <br /> parcel (322 North Sacramento Street), approximately 60 feet east of the North Sacramento <br /> Street right-of-way; <br /> • Boring P-2 was advanced to a total depth of 15 feet bsg in the southeast corner of the <br /> southern parcel (322 North Sacramento Street), approximately 105 feet east of the North <br /> Sacramento Street right-of-way; <br /> • Boring P-3 was advanced to a total depth of 15 feet bsg near the northeast corner of the <br /> southern parcel (322 North Sacramento Street), approximately 110 feet east of the North <br /> Sacramento Street right-of-way; <br /> • Boring P-4 was advanced to a total depth of 15 feet bsg in the south end of the northern <br /> parcel (400 North Sacramento Street), approximately 80 feet east of the North Sacramento <br /> Street right-of-way; <br /> • Boring P-5 was advanced to a total depth of 15 feet bsg in the east end of the northern parcel <br /> (400 North Sacramento Street),approximately 115 feet east of the North Sacramento Street <br /> right-of-way; and <br /> Advanced GeoEvironmental,Inc. <br />
