Ell�yt® <br /> Mr James Barton <br />' July 30, 2004 <br /> Page 5 <br />' Well Development and Sampling <br /> Groundwater monitoring wells MW-28 through MW-30 were developed and sampled on <br />' July 13, 2004 The wells were developed according to field methods and procedures outlined in <br /> Attachment D <br /> Groundwater Sampling Analytical Results <br /> Groundwater samples collected from wells MW-28 through MW-30 were submitted to CLS for <br />' analysis of TPHg by EPA Method 8015 Modified and volatile organic compounds using EPA <br /> Method 8260B Groundwater samples were collected using procedures described in <br /> Attachment D Concentrations of benzene, TPHg and MtBE were not reported at or above the <br /> laboratory reporting limits in groundwater samples collected during this investigation <br /> Groundwater sample analytical results are summarized in Table 2 and copies of the laboratory <br /> analytical reports are Included In Attachment F TPHg and benzene concentrations are <br />' depicted in Figure 7 <br /> Soil Stockpile <br /> Drilling activities generated approximately 25 yds3 of soil cuttings The cuttings were placed in <br /> eighteen 55-gallon Department of Transportation-rated drums and temporarily stored onsite <br /> Six samples were collected from the drums and submitted to CLS The laboratory composlted <br /> the samples Into one for analysis of TPHg, BTEX, and MtBE and using previously described <br /> methods Additionally, the sample was analyzed for total lead using EPA Method 60106 It Is <br />' anticipated that the eighteen drums containing soil drill cuttings and two drums containing rinse <br /> water will be transported as non-hazardous waste to an approved facility within 90-days <br /> i <br /> Well Survey <br /> Groundwater monitoring wells MW-2$ through MW-30 will be surveyed by a California licensed <br /> land surveyor in accordance with State of California Assembly Bill AB2886 prior to the fourth <br />' quarter 2004 monitoring and sampling event The top-of-casing elevation of the monitoring well <br /> and ground surface elevation will be surveyed relative to mean sea level within 0 01 foot <br /> eSampling Schedule <br /> The third quarter 2004 sampling event occurred between July 14, 2004 and July 22, 2004 An <br /> Updated Site Conceptual Model, Monitoring and Remediation Status Report for Third Quarter <br /> 2004 will be submitted to the appropriate parties during October 2004 Wells MW-28 through <br /> MW-30 will be added to the quarterly monitoring program <br /> J 1Projects106940k5098-293TinahReparts15098 Well Results Report doc <br />' jVC f' Y-ar- of Chi Ar1PIh,F 1r, =r1Vf1071111eTar�2fUICE` <br />
