REQUIRED SIGNATURES Upon receiving your copy of the SPCC, management is required to review and sign designated places within the SPCC. 16.1.1. SPCC PLAN MANAGEMENT APPROVAL The SPCC regulations requires the facility management understands the responsibilities and implications of storing and handling quantities of oil that required completion of a SPCC and pledge sufficient company resources to take on the responsibilities and implications. Consequently, the SPCC is not considered valid unless the SPCC PLAN MANAGEMENT APPROVAL signature block on page 5 is completed and dated. 16.1.2. CERTIFICATION OF SUBSTANTIAL HARM CRITERIA CHECKLIST [40 CFR 112.20(F)(1)] To avoid needing to complete a complex Facility Response Plan" (FRP) management is required to review the Certification of Substantial Harm Checklist (Appendix A) and sign it, if appropriate. 16.2. PLAN AMENDMENTS AND REVIEW [40 CFR§112.5(A,B&C)]: SPCC Plan review is required every 5 years by management and plan amendments are required as part of implementing this plan. These requirements can be found in the Introduction Section of this Plan. 16.3. NOTIFICATION OF DISCHARGES [40 CFR§112.7 (A)(4)]: Notification of discharges is required as part of implementing this plan. Notification of discharge requirements can be found in Section 3 of this Plan and Spill/Release Notification forms for recording discharges are included in Appendix C. 16.4. MANAGEMENT PLAN APPROVAL [40 CFR §112.7]: Management approval is required as part of implementing this plan. Management approval requirements can be found in the Introduction Section of this Plan and requires the complete review and signature authorization by management. 16.5. VISUAL INSPECTIONS [40 CFR §112.7(E)]: The SPCC regulations require visual inspections as part of implementing this plan. Visual inspection requirements can be found in Section 5 of this Plan and recordkeeping forms for visual inspections are included in Appendix D.
