Worst Case Discharge — For an onshore non-transportation related facility with multiple
containers (tanks) this is defined as:
• The capacity of the largest container(tank)within a common secondary containment area,
or the largest container (tank) within a single secondary containment area, whichever is
greater plus the total aboveground capacity of the containers (tanks) without adequate
secondary containment; or
• For permanently manifolded containers (tanks) that function as one storage unit; the
combined storage capacity of all manifolded containers (tanks) or the capacity of the
largest single container (tank) within a secondary containment area, whichever is greater
plus the total above ground capacity of the containers (tanks)without adequate secondary
containment.
Note: Permanently manifolded containers (tanks) that are separated by internal divisions for
each container (tank) is considered to be single containers (tanks) and individual manifolded
containers (tank) volumes are not combined.
