Baracco : <br /> Notice of Preparation for the Agricultural and Biomass Pro essIna <br /> andResourceRecovery ( Falcon Energy-) Facility SCH# 8801190, <br /> This letter Is In response to your February 5 , 1988 <br /> request for comments on the scope and content of the draft <br /> Environmental Impact Report (DEIR ) being prepared for the <br /> Agricultural and Biomass Processing and Resource Recovery Facility <br /> proposed by Falcon Energy Associates . <br /> Project Description : <br /> Falcon Energy is proposing to construct and operate an <br /> Agricultural Biomass Processing and Resource Recovery Facility In <br /> San Joaquin County . The facility would process biomass Into <br /> briquettes for fuel and feed . The facility would also recover <br /> used lubricants through a process of filtration , settling and <br /> evaporation . The recycled lubricants would be offered for sale as <br /> a blended fuel and will be used on—site as an Inexpensive source <br /> of heat for processing the biomass and an additive to the finished <br /> briquettes . Approximately 216 , 000 tons of briquettes and <br /> 3 , 888 , 000 gallons of oil recovery product would be produced per <br /> year . <br /> Comments : <br /> To ensure a thorough analysis of this project ' s <br /> potential air quality Impact , we suggest the following Informatlon <br /> be Included in the DEIR . <br /> 1 .
