Box 8 Somis, CA 93066 Estimated Construction Schedule Start: May 1988 Complete: February 1989 Operating Schedule 24-hour/day, 7-days/week Approximately 43-weeks/year 2.0 FACILITY DESCRIPTION The proposed Facility will be located on vacant property east of and bordering Austin Road, with the Atchinson, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway to the north and east and Weber Slough to the south (see attached drawing No. C-01). All structures and equipment are centrally located on the site. The general arrangement of these facilities are summarized as follows: o Truck and auto access to the site will be from Austin Road, approximately 1500 feet south of the intersection of Austin and Mariposa Roads. A weigh station is located about 200 feet inside of the main gate. o The biomass piles will be located on the north-central portion of the site. o The processing equipment is centrally located on the site, just to the south of the biomass pile area. o Most equipment, structures and biomass pile areas are encircled by the plant access road, which connects with the entrance on its southern loop. An emergency road connects the northern loop of the plant access road with Austin Road. The emergency gate is about 760 feet south of Mariposa. 3
