DISCUSSION OF ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACTS
GP-92-12, ZR-92-14
Refer to the following information for an explanation of those
items above marked with an asterisk.
l.c. & d. There are no streams or drainage courses on the site and
all storm water runoff generated as a result of the
project will be naturally percolated back into the soil.
The project, therefore, is not expected to result i
increases in surface runoff, alterations to drainage
patterns, or erosion.
2 .c. The proposed development on the site is not considered a
significant conversion of prime farmland because the
amount of land that will actually be converted to non-
agricultural uses, due to construction of residences and
other related improvements, is considerably less than 40
acres.
3 .a. & b. According to the Natural Diversity Data Base, there are
no threatened or endangered species of plants or animals
on this site, nor is the site known to contain habitat
that will support such species.
13 .a. While adjacent properties may request inclusion in this
General Plan Amendment/Rezoning, there are policies in
the General Plan 2010 which preclude significant
subdividing of existing large parcels. Specifically, the
Plan states that the Limited Agriculture land use
designation is appropriate "in areas of small scale
agricultural operations where the parcels are generally
between five (5) and ten (10) acres in size.
