CONTINUATION FORM <br /> OFFICIAL INSPECTION REPORT <br /> Facility Address: 1645 Cherokee, Stockton (CCT) Page 4 of 5 <br /> MINOR-Notice to Comply: #10,78,81,82,83,88,89 <br /> #10 Observed one unlabeled 55-gallon drum which generator identified <br /> as soil turning from a monitoring well installation, and 8 one-gallon <br /> cans of waste paint in a storage shed. A generator is responsible <br /> for determining if a waste is a HW. Immediately make a HW <br /> determination of the above wastes and manage them accordingly, <br /> or manage them as HW according to Title 22. Submit evidence of <br /> correction to this office by January 8, 2010. <br /> #78,80,81 Observed two uncontained waste fluorescent lamps and two <br /> uncontained waste CRTs in the office of the locomotive storage <br /> house, and circuit boards in trash can. Universal Waste (UW) <br /> lamps, CRT, and electronic waste shall be contained in a manner <br /> that prevents breakage. Immediately contain the above UW that <br /> will prevent breakage and release to the environment and continue <br /> this practice in the future. Submit evidence of correction to this <br /> office by January 8, 2010. <br /> #82 The above UW (item #78,80,81) and were unlabeled. UW shall be <br /> labeled to identify type of universal waste. Immediately label the <br /> above UW to identify the type of universal waste (i.e. UW-lamps, <br /> UW-electronic devices, UW-CRTs). Submit evidence of correction <br /> to this office by January 8, 2010. <br /> #83 The above UW (item #78,80,81) could not be determined the length <br /> of storage. UW shall be stored on site no more than 1 year from <br /> the date when it first became a waste. Immediately dispose the <br /> above UW in accordance to Title 22 Universal Waste Rule, and be <br /> able to demonstrate the length of time the UW has been stored on <br /> site in the future. Submit evidence of correction to this office by <br /> January 8, 2010. <br /> #89 Observed three unmarked empty metal 55-gallon empty drums <br /> outdoor, and three unmarked empty poly 55-gallon drums inside a <br /> storage shed. Empty HW or Hazardous Material containers larger <br /> than 5 gallons must be marked with the day it was emptied and <br /> managed within one year of being emptied. Immediately manage <br /> the above empty containers by reusing, recycling, or disposing, and <br /> begin labeling all empty containers with the date it was emptied. <br /> Submit evidence of correction to this office by January 8, 2010 <br />
