Begin this practice immediately. <br /> 12. 66265.31 (CCR) Facility not maintained to minimize the release of a hazardous waste. <br /> Fuel and oil stains were observed throughout the facility. Improper storage of used oil filters caused <br /> a release to the ground. Maintain facility and begin hazardous waste management practices to <br /> minimize the release of hazardous waste to the environment. Remove contaminated soil and handle <br /> in accordance to Title 22 Hazardous Waste Law. Correct immediately. <br /> 19. 25201(a) (HSC) Stored hazardous waste on site longer than 180 days without a permit or <br /> authorization. The most recent manifest generated from this site was September 9, 2002 for oily <br /> liquid. The previous manifest for disposal of oily liquid was from January 21, 2002. The most <br /> recent manifest for the oily rags was dated May 1, 2001. Remove all hazardous waste that does not <br /> have an accumulation start date immediately. <br /> 20. 66262.34 (CCR) Failed to properly label containers of hazardous waste. The following items did <br /> not have label with the required information including 1) Business Name 2)Business Address 3) <br /> Contents 4) Physical State 5) Hazardous Properties 6) Accumulation Start Date: <br /> 1- 5 gallon bucket of contaminated soil located in Building 1 <br /> 1- 55 gallon drum of oily sludge located on the East side of the property <br /> 2- 55 gallon drums of used absorbent located in Building 1 <br /> 2- 55 gallon drums of oily rags located in Building 1 <br /> 1-5 gallon bucket used to collect new oil dripping spillage located in Building 1. <br /> 2- 55 gallon drums of used oil filters located in Building 1 <br /> 1- 5 gallon bucket of used oil filters located in Building 1 <br /> 16-55 gallon drums from the monitoring wells <br /> Label all containers of hazardous waste with the required information immediately. <br /> 21. 66265.173(a) (CCR) Failed to keep containers of hazardous waste closed except when adding or <br /> removing contents. The following containers were found open: <br /> 1- 5 gallon bucket of contaminated soil located in Building 1 <br /> 1- 55 gallon drum of oily sludge located on the East side of the property <br /> 2- 55 gallon drums of used absorbent located in Building 1 <br /> 2- 55 gallon drums of oily rags located in Building 1 <br /> 1-5 gallon bucket used to collect new oil dripping spillage located in Building 1. <br />
