The purpose of this letter is provide written <br /> notise to the San Joaquin County Public Health Services-- <br /> Environmental Health Division of the results of <br /> laboratory analyses which were taken at this site and to <br /> provide you with background information concerning this <br /> property. <br /> At the recommendation of this law firm, the Chapin_ <br /> Brothers retained Roger Foott Associates , Inc . to <br /> evaluate soil and groundwater conditions at the site in <br /> conjunction with plans to list the property for sale with <br /> a commercial broker. The consultant' s investigation <br /> included drilling one soil boring to a depth of <br /> approximately 35 feet and installing one monitoring well . <br /> Three soil samples and one groundwater sample were <br /> submitted to the laboratory for analysis . The analytical <br /> results indicate the presence of petroleum hydrocarbons <br /> as gasoline and its constituents , benzene, toluene, <br /> xylene and ethel benzine at varying concentrations . <br /> Roger Foott and Associates is in the process of preparing <br /> a preliminary assessment report in accordance with the <br /> Tri-Regional Guidelines and when completed, we will <br /> submit this report to you. <br /> The underground tanks and pipelines at the service <br /> station facility have passed all tanks integrity tests . <br />
