This indicates that the used oil was stored on site longer than 180 days. The hazardous waste label for the <br />used coolant drum listed an accumulation start date of 4-7-15 and a pick up date of 2-26-16. It also listed an <br />accumulation start date of 8-11-14 and a pick up date of 4-7-15. This indicates that the used coolant was stored on <br />site longer than 180 days on two separate occasions. Facilities who generate less than 1000 kg of hazardous waste <br />per month and do not exceed 6000 kg of waste stored on site at any time may store waste on site up to 180 days. <br />Ensure that any hazardous waste stored on site does not exceed the allowable time limits. <br />This is a Class II violation. <br />)8 <br />CCR 66266.130 Failed to properly manage used oil and fuel filters. <br />The drum of drained used oil filters did not have the drum ring affixing the drum lid to the drum. This drum is not <br />closed. Used oil filters shall be drained of free-flowing oil, stored in a closed, rainproof container, labeled as "drained <br />used oil filters," and marked with an accumulation start date. Immediately close the drum by using the drum ring to <br />affix the drum lid to the drum and ensure that all used oil filters are managed in this way. <br />Bills of lading for the recycling of used oil filters for the last three years were incomplete. The bills of lading for the <br />recycling of used oil filters for 2015 and 2013 were not found on site during the inspection. A copy of each bill of lading <br />must be kept on site for at least three years. Immediately locate a copy of all bills of lading for used oil filters for the <br />last three years, maintain them on site, and submit copies from 2015 and 2013 to the EHD. <br />This is a minor violation. <br />Overall Inspection Comments: <br />Jn site to conduct a routine hazardous waste inspection. <br />�omplete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br />documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br />;paperwork, by 4-10-16. <br />Tease be aware as of January 1, 2013, all businesses are required to submit all hazardous materials information <br />online to the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS) at http*Hcers.calepa.ca.gov.
