C.VV A S S O C I A T E S I N C
NEARBY WELL LOCATIONS
As requested by PHS/EHD in correspondence dated August 14, 2000, ATC has prepared a map
showing well locations along with any known well construstructfon details corresponding to the
well survey included in Interim Problem Assessment Report dated June 1992 prepared by
RESNA Industries, Inc (RESNA) A reproduction of RESNA's summary table is included as
Table 4 of this report Corresponding well locations are shown on Figure 3
In order to obtain well construction details of the wells included is RESNA's report, ATC visited
the California Department of Water Resources (DWR) office in Sacramento, California to review
the agency's records These records revealed the monitoring wells located at Unocal Corp , 2059
Navy Drive have been destroyed Furthermore an irrigation well at Nelson Ready Mix, 2059
Navy Drive is completed at a depth of 270 feet bgs with perforations extending from 198 to 270
feet bgs and the annular seal extends from the surface to 50 feet bgs The Nelson Ready Mix
irrigation well, approximately 2,200 feet west and crossgradient of the site, appears to be the
nearest well to the site Available DWR well construction logs are included in Attachment 3
No records of the remaining wells listed in RESNA's Interim Problem Assessment Report were
• observed during ATC's DWR records review The plotted well locations on Figure 3 for these
remaining wells were based on the well location descriptions in RESNA's report
It is noteworthy to mention that the location of a domestic well, which was listed in RESNA's
report as owned by Sunland Oil Company and located in San Joaquin County, has not been
identified However, RESNA listed this well as being within Township 1 N, Range 6 E, Section
8, which would place the well upgradient of the subject site and not closer than approximately
1,800 feet
Based on these data, the project site does not appear to pose a health risk to nearby wells
identified herein
92054 00061QUARTLYI3QR-2000 DOC 4
