Depth to Water (btoc) Total Depth (btoc) Casing Water <br /> Well No p (feet) (feet) Elevation Elevation <br /> (feet MSL) (feet MSL) <br /> MW-1 861 2482 431 -430 <br /> MW-2 1182 2786 709 -473 <br /> MW-3 1 1207 2837 806 -4 01 <br /> btoc means below top of casing <br />' The wells were purged using disposable Teflon®bailers with approximately 12 gallons <br /> of groundwater(roughly 4 well volumes)purged from each well Groundwater <br /> parameters (pH, conductivity, redox, temperature, and turbidity)were measured initially <br /> and following every three gallons of discharge The completed Groundwater Sampling <br /> Data Sheets are included in Appendix A <br /> Groundwater samples also were obtained using disposable Teflon® bailers with a <br /> bottom-emptying device All sample containers, provided by the laboratory, were filled <br /> with groundwater, sealed, packed in protective plastic bags, placed in a cooler with ice, <br /> and submitted under chain of custody protocol to Severn Trent Laboratories, Inc (STL) <br /> in Pleasanton, California STL is a California-certified laboratory Groundwater samples <br /> from the three monitoring wells were submitted for analysis of Total Petroleum <br /> Hydrocarbons as diesel fuel (TPH-diesel) in accordance with United States <br /> Environmental Protection Agency(USEPA) Method 8015M Each sample was also to be <br /> analyzed for TPH as gasoline (TPH-gas) in accordance with USEPA Method 8015M, <br /> benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, xylenes (BTEX), and Methyl tert-butyl ether(MTBE) in <br /> accordance with USEPA Method 8021 <br /> 1 GROUNDWATER ANALYTICAL RESULTS <br /> TPH-gas, BTEX, and MTBE were not detected in any of the three groundwater samples <br />' TPH-diesel was detected in each of the groundwater samples at concentrations of 87 <br /> micrograms per liter (µg/L) (MW-1), 72 µg/L (MW-2) and 540 µg/L (MW-3) The <br /> laboratory has flagged each of these diesel values as being a hydrocarbon that does not <br /> match the pattern of their diesel standard The results of these analyses are included with <br /> the laboratory reports in Appendix B <br />' Groundwater at the site flows to the southeast at a gradient of 0 0067 The groundwater <br /> flow direction is shown on Figure 3 <br /> 4.0 SUMMARY AND CONCLUSIONS <br />' Based on the requirements of the PHD/EHD, the third quarterly groundwater monitoring <br /> event was conducted at the site Groundwater samples were analyzed for TPH-gas, TPH- <br /> diesel, BTEX, and MTBE <br /> 2 <br /> S Troj\P02263\Q3 Rpt doc <br />
