Observed generator closed two 5 -gallon buckets of solvent waste and water-based solvent waste. <br />All hazardous waste containers shall be closed at all times except when adding or removing waste. <br />Discrepancy was corrected on site. <br />605. Observed generator labelled two 5 -gallon buckets of solvent waste and water-based solvent waste, <br />and a 55 -gallon drum of the above -referenced dust waste. All hazardous waste containers shall be <br />marked with the following information: <br />1. the words "Hazardous Waste" <br />2. name and address of generator <br />3. hazardous properties <br />4. physical state <br />5. composition (contents) <br />6. accumulation start date <br />Discrepancy was corrected on site. <br />703. Observed generator posted emergency coordinator and modified contingency plan information. <br />There must be at least one emergency coordinator on site or on call to coordinate emergency response <br />measures, and the following information must be posted by a phone: the name and phone number of the <br />emergency coordinator; location of fire extinguishers, spill control equipment, and if present, fire alarm; <br />and the phone number of the fire department, unless the facility has a direct alarm. Discrepancy was <br />corrected on site. <br />Discussed with generator Universal Waste management requirements including aerosol cans, lamps, <br />alkaline batteries, mercury containing switches, CRT, electronic devices, etc. in a closed container with a <br />method to identify the content and the start date of accumulation. Universal Wastes must be managed <br />within 1 year of accumulation, and the disposal records maintained on site for at least 3 years. <br />Discussed with generator requirement to retain hazardous waste disposal records for at least 3 years. <br />Discussed with generator California Environmental Reporting System (CERS) compliance requirement. <br />Provided generator fact sheet on CERS website and how to create a new account, and a copy of the <br />CERS Lead User Approval form. <br />Submit the following to EHD by 5/16/2013: completed copy of the (provided) Return to Compliance <br />Certification, a written statement how each violation was corrected, and related evidence. <br />ALL EHD STAFF TIME ASSOCIATED WITH FAILING TO COMPLY BY THE ABOVE NOTED DATES WILL BE BILLED AT THE CURRENT HOURLY RATE. <br />THIS FACILITY IS SUBJECT TO REINSPECTION AT ANY TIME AT EHD'S CURRENT HOURLY RATE. <br />EHD Inspector: <br />Received <br />Title: <br />Jeffrey Wong (209) 468-0335 <br />EHD 23-02-003 Rev 04/19/12 CONTINUATION FORM <br />
