The following is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been <br />addressed for ACCURATE TRANSMISSIONS as of September 15, 2015. <br />Open violations from July 16, 2015 inspection <br />Violation #608 - Failed to properly manage used oil and fuel filters. <br />Observed a 55 gallon of drum of drained used oil filters without the accumulation start date . Used oil filters shall be <br />drained of free-flowing oil, stored in a closed, rainproof container, labeled as "drained used oil filters," and marked wii <br />an accumulation start date. Immediately mark the date and ensure that all used oil filters are managed in this way. <br />Drained used oil filters were stored longer on site longer than 1 year according to Tina. Tina stated that she was <br />waiting for the container to fill up completely before disposing it. Facilities that generate up to one ton of used oil <br />filters per year may store the filters up to one year. Facilities that generate one ton or more of used oil filters may <br />store the filters for up to 180 days. Immediately recycle these filters under a bill of lading and submit a copy of the bil <br />of lading to the EHD. <br />Bills of lading for the recycling of used oil filters for 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015 were not found on site. A copy of ea( <br />bill of lading must be kept on site for at least three years. Immediately locate a copy of all bills of lading for used oil <br />filters for the last three years, maintain them on site, and submit copies to the EHD. <br />Page 2 of 2 <br />
