Channel, Stockton <br />Program: HW <br />SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br />(CLASS I, CLASS II, or MINOR -Notice to Comply) <br />This is the final version of the Official Inspection Report This version supersedes the previous <br />Checklist Only provided on 6118/2014. <br />404. Witnessed multiple hazardous waste containers open (Photos #9,8,11,12, also Item #108 for any <br />container determined to contain hazardous waste) during this inspection, and failed to return to <br />compliance for the same violation cited in the 08/30/2013 Report. Hazardous waste containers shall be <br />closed at all times except when adding or removing waste. Immediately close these containers and <br />ensure all hazardous waste containers are closed when not adding or removing waste. Submit <br />evidence of correction to EHD by 911512014. <br />407. Observed three empty 30 -gallon containers in the trash bin during this inspection (Photos 23, 24), <br />which were not marked with the date when they became empty, and failed to return to compliance for <br />the same violation cited in the 08/30/2013 Report. Containers larger than five gallons that previously <br />held a hazardous material or waste shall be marked with the date they were emptied and managed <br />within one year of being emptied. Immediately mark all such empty containers per this section if they <br />have been on site less than one year of becoming empty, and for empty containers stored longer <br />manage them by either reuse, recycle, or disposal. Submit evidence of correction to EHD by 911512014. <br />605 & 701. Multiple hazardous waste containers had no hazardous labels (see Photos #9,8,11,12,20,43, <br />and any container determined to contain hazardous waste on Violation #108), and failed to return to <br />compliance for the same violation cited in the 08/30/2013 Report. Hazardous waste may be stored on <br />site up to maximum of 180 days, and all hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following <br />information: <br />1. the words "Hazardous Waste" <br />2. name and address of generator <br />3. hazardous properties <br />4. physical state <br />5. composition (contents) <br />6. accumulation start date <br />Immediately label all hazardous waste containers and ensure that all containers are marked with all the <br />required information. Since there is no accumulation start date, the hazardous waste containers are <br />considered to have been on site exceeding 180 days.
