SUMMARY/CONCLUSIONS
' The following conclusions were drawn from the results of the site investigation and data collected
from adjacent sites
li
• Ground water elevation at the site increased approximately 0 29 feet since the 23 September
1999 monitoring event
' The inferred ground water gradient on 23 September 1999 was calculated to be 0 002 ft/ft
toward the northeast Additional monitoring wells located at an adjacent site (3535 East
' Cherokee Road - Cherokee Truck Stop)were utilized to construct the ground water gradient
map
' TPH-g was detected in the ground water sample from monitoring well MW-1 at a
concentration of 970µg/1
• MTBE was detected at a concentration of 38 yg/l in ground water sample MW-1-11-15-99
' analyzed by EPA Method 8020 at 37 µg11 by EPA Method 8260M
• Xylenes were detected in the water sample collected from MW-1 at a concentration of 17
'ug/l
5.0.
