There must be at least one emergency coordinator on site or on call to <br />coordinate emergency response measures, and the following information must be posted by a phone: the name and <br />phone number of the emergency coordinator; location of fire extinguishers, spill control equipment, and if present, fire <br />alarm; and the phone number of the fire department, unless the facility has a direct alarm. Immediately appoint an <br />emergency coordinator and post the required information by a phone. A form is provided that can be used for this <br />purpose. This was corrected on site. <br />This is a minor violation. <br />301 <br />CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Facility not maintained to minimize the release of a hazardous waste. <br />Dark oil stain found at the side of a tractor. Facilities shall be maintained and operated to minimize the possibility of a <br />fire, explosion, or release of hazardous waste to air, soil, or surface water which could threaten human health or the <br />environment. Immediately clean stain , and manage according to Title 22 hazardous waste regulations. This was <br />corrected on site. <br />This is a minor violation. <br />303 <br />CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Failed to maintain all communication or alarm systems, spill control, or decontamination <br />equipment. <br />All fire extinguishers throughout the facility were not maintained or tested. The last inspection conducted on the fire <br />extinguishers was in 2013. All facility communications or alarm systems, fire protection equipment, spill control <br />equipment, and decontamination equipment, where required, shall be tested and maintained as necessary to assure <br />its proper operation in time of emergency. Immediately begin this practice. <br />This is a minor violation. <br />401 <br />CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Failed to store hazardous waste in a container that is in good condition. <br />Used oil was found in a 5 gallon container that had alterations that prevent the container to have a seal close. <br />Hazardous waste shall be stored in a container that are in good condition. Immediately transfer all hazardous wastes <br />into containers that are in good condition or have hazardous wastes properly disposed of by a licensed hazardous <br />waste hauler under a proper manifest. This was corrected on site. <br />This is a Class II violation. <br />403 <br />CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Failed to keep hazardous waste containers closed except when adding or removing hazardous <br />waste. <br />A 5 gallon container of used oil in the hazardous waste storage area was found open. All hazardous waste containers <br />shall be closed at all times except when adding or removing waste. Immediately close these containers and ensure <br />all hazardous waste containers are closed when not adding or removing waste.
