San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department AM V 0
1868 East Hazelton Avenue, Stockton, California 95205-6232
Telephone: (209) 468-3420 Fax: (209) 468-3433 Web: www.slgov.org/ehd S
Small Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator Inspection Report
Facility Name:
Facility Address:
Date:
SIERRA GOLF MANAGEMENT
35200 S CHRISMAN RD TRACY
June 30 2015
SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS
(CLASS I, CLASS II, or MINOR - Notice to Comply)
Item #
Remarks
601
CCR 66262.34(d) Stored hazardous waste onsite greater than 180 days.
2-55 gallon drums of used oil and 1- 5 gallon container of used oil were stored onsite more than 180 days according to
Juilo Razo. He stated that the wastes has not been hauled off for at least a year now. Facilities who generate less
than 1000 kg of hazardous waste per month and do not exceed 6000 kg of waste stored on site at any time may store
waste on site up to 180 days. Immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler to dispose of this waste under
manifest and submit a copy of the manifest to the EHD.
This is a Class II violation.
605
CCR 66262.34(f) Failed to completely label containers or tanks of hazardous waste.
2-55 gallon drums of used oil and 1- 5 gallon container of used oil were found without any hazardous waste labels. All
hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information:
- the words "Hazardous Waste"
- name and address of generator
- hazardous properties (toxic, reactive, flammable or corrosive)
- physical state
- composition (contents)
- accumulation start date
Immediately label these containers and ensure that all containers are marked with all the required information. Since
it cannot be determined how long the 2- 55 gallon drums of used oil and 1-5 gallon container of used oil have been on
site, immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest and submit a
copy of the manifest to the EHD.
This is a minor violation.
608
CCR 66266.130 Failed to properly manage used oil and fuel filters.
A 55 gallon drum of drained used oil filters was not labeled as "drained used oil and gasoline filters." Used oil filters
shall be drained of free-flowing oil, stored in a closed, rainproof container, labeled as "drained used oil filters," and
marked with an accumulation start date. Immediately label and ensure that all used oil filters are managed in this way.
This was corrected on site.
The above referenced drum had the accumulation start date of 3/6/12. Facilities that generate up to one ton of used oil
filters per year may store the filters up to one year. Immediately recycle these filters under a bill of lading and submit
a copy of the bill of lading to the EHD.
This is a minor violation.
Overall Inspection Comments:
***Conducted an initial hazardous waste inspection on June 30, 2015 at this facility and left a checklist on site with
Julio Razo at the time of inspection. This full official inspection report (OIR) supersedes the checklist that was left
on site at the time of inspection.
Received by
I Inspector:
Phone:
Date:
(initial): ko&a cj-41 tlL
I CINDY VO, EH Specialist
(209) 468-8257
06/30/2015
, 4v- 't uta N10 Page 5 of 6
