rQuarterly Report - Third and Fourth Quarter 2004 <br /> • MOORE TRUCK LINES <br />' 3400 Newton Road, Stockton, California <br />' 1.0. INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Mrs Edna Moore of Moore Truck Lines,Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc (AGE) <br />' has prepared this quarterly report for the property located at 3400 Newton Road (site), Stockton, <br /> California The scope of work included conducting two quarterly ground water monitoring events <br /> and preparation of this report The site and the surrounding area is illustrated on Figure 1 On-site <br />' structures and well locations are illustrated on Figure 2 <br /> In accordance with the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Division's(EHD)directive dated <br />' 18 December 2003, only monitoring wells MW-1 and MW-4 and domestic well DW-1 were to be /Vd ! <br /> sampled each third quarter, and only monitoring well MW-1 and domestic well DW-1 were to be lila <br /> sampled each fourth quarter, however, during third and fourth quarters 2004, well MW-1 was dry Um <br />' and could not be sampled Background information,well installation and ground water monitoring <br /> procedures for the site are summarized in the AGETrepared documents, Preliminary Investigation <br />' and Evaluation Report, dated 15 September 1999, Monitoring Well Installation Work Plan, dated <br /> 23 May 2001 and Monitoring Well Installation & Quarterly Report - Third Quarter 2001, dated <br /> 26 November 2001 Ground water data from November 1999 to the presenter summarized in the <br />' tables of this report are, <br /> • <br />' 2.0. PROCEDURES <br /> Depth to water measurements were collected from monitoring wells MW-2 through MW-4 on <br />' 28 September and 17 November 2004, well (MW-1) could not be monitored because it was dry <br /> After completion of depth measurements, wells MW-4 and DW-1 were sampled on 28 September <br /> and well DW-1 was sampled on 17 November 2004 The field work was performed in accordance <br />' with Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (RWQCB) guidelines for the <br /> investigation of underground storage tank (UST) sites <br /> 1 r <br /> 2 1 WELL MONITORING AND EVACUATION <br />' A Solinst water level meter was used to measure the depth to ground water in monitoring wells <br /> MW-2 through MW-4 relative to the tops of the well casings(well heads) After water levels were <br /> gauged, a water sample was collected from domestic well DW-1 after the well purge valve was <br />' opened and water was allowed to run until the pump turned on In addition, a ground water sample <br /> was collected from well MW-4 on 28 September without purging,since there was insufficient water <br /> in the well to purge Monitoring well field logs are included in Appendix A <br /> 1 - <br /> • <br />' Advanced CeoEnvironmental,Inc <br /> 1 <br />
