' 30 August 2004 <br /> AGE-NC Project No 99-0592 <br />' Page 2 of 13 <br /> The nearest surface water feature in the vicinity of the property is the Stockton Diverting Canal <br />' approximately 2,300 feet southwest of the site <br />' 2 2 GROUND WATER DEPTH AND FLOW DIRECTION <br />' Based on data acquired from previous site investigations,the estimated depth to ground water at the <br /> site is approximately 64 feet below surface grade(bsg) Based upon data collected from the site and <br /> a nearby site, the prevailing ground water flow direction is estimated to be northeast at an average <br />' gradient of 0 0007 ft/ft <br />' 23 RECEPTOR WELL SURVEY <br /> A survey was performed to identify potential receptor wells near the subject property The City of <br />' Stockton and California Water Service was contacted forthe location and construction specifications <br /> for municipal wells near the site A database from the California Department of Water Resources <br /> (DWR), driller's well log files and a well location map prepared by the San Joaquin County Flood <br /> I . <br /> Control and Water Conservation District (SJCFC&WCD) were examined to locate wells near the <br /> site A 2,000 foot search radius from the site was used Owners/residents of nearby properties were <br />' contacted regarding wells near the site <br />' 2 3 1 Water Well and Septic System Survey <br /> The domestic well presently being used at the site is located approximately 134 feet north of the <br />' former UST system A second domestic well was located approximately 90 feet east of the former <br /> UST system Due to sand infiltration problems,use of this well was discontinued in 1978 The well <br /> was destroyed under permit by San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) in <br />' December 2000 The following addresses have domestic wells within a 2,000-foot radius of the site, <br /> discovered during the reconnaissance and file review <br />' • 3516 Newton Road, one well located approximately 300 feet north from the UST system, <br /> • 3355 East Cherokee Road - Delta Truck Sales, Inc , one well approximately 400 feet east <br />' from the site, <br /> • 3535 East Cherokee Road-Cherokee Truck Stop,one well approximately 500 feet southeast <br /> from the site, <br /> Ile • 3604 Newton Road, one well located approximately 1,000 feet north from the site, <br /> IAdvanced GeoEnvi ron mental,Inc <br />
