' 06 April 2004
• AGE-NC Project No 99-0592
MW-4 Depth to water and ground water elevation are summarized in Table 1 Figure 3 illustrates
' the contoured ground water elevations for 08 July 2003 '
Figures 4 and 5 illustrates the contoured ground water elevations for 12 December 2003 Monitoring
' data from MW-2,MW-3 and MW-4 was combined with monitoring data collected from the adjacent
Cherokee Truck Stop property to determine an approximate regional ground water flow direction
The third quarter monitoring events for Moore Truck Lines and Cherokee Truck Stop were not
' performed simultaneously, so an approximate regional ground water flow map is not available
' 3 2 ANALYTICAL RESULTS OF GROUND WATER SAMPLES
No analytes of concern were detected above laboratory reporting limits in the samples collected for
either monitoring event
Analytical results for the ground water samples from the July and December 2003 monitoring events
are summarized in Tables 2 and 3 The laboratory reports(CTEL Project Nos CT214-0307045 and
CT214 - 0312120), QA/QC and chain-of-custody are included in Appendix B '
I •
4.0. SUMMARY AND CONCLUSIONS
Based on the findings from this investigation, AGE concludes
• Ground water at the site for the July 2003 rnonitoring event was inferred to be flowing
toward the southwest at an average gradient of 0 0008 ft/ft The inferred ground water
direction was nearly 180° from the direction of the March 2003 monitoring event The
average ground water elevation at the site decreased approximately 3 36 feet since the March
2003 monitoring event
I Ground water at the site for the December 2003 monitoring event was inferred to be flowing
toward the northeast at an average gradient of 0 0007 ft./ft The inferred ground water
direction was approximately 180° from the direction of the July 2003 monitoring event, but
' similar to the direction from the March 2003 monitoring event The average ground water
elevation at the site decreased approximately 0 33 feet since the July 2003 monitoring event
• Petroleum hydrocarbon-impacted ground water appears to be limited to the area near
monitoring well MW-1 None of the target analytes were detected in samples collected from
MW-2, MW-3, MW-4 and DW-1
IAdvanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc
I
