The wires between the monitor and each containment sump sensor location must be of a type designed for use in the presence of gasoline and oil, and must be between AWG 14 and AWG 18. Specify that you are installing a Veeder-Root Containment Sump Sensor when ordering. 5. Slide the sensor into the mounting bracket and secure in position. 6. Feed the cable through the cord grip on the junction box. 7. Tighten the cord grip nut to ensure a water -tight seal at the cable entry. 8. Using wire nuts, connect the three -wire cable to the field wires in the sensor junction box.
