Slide the sensor into the mounting bracket and secure in position. 6. Install the Cord Grip supplied with wiring Kit No. 312020-969 on the junction box. 7. Feed the cable through the cord grip on the junction box. 8. Tighten the cord grip nut to ensure a water -tight seal at the cable entry. 9. Using wire nuts, connect the three -wire cable to the field wires in the sensor junction box. Be sure to observe color codes to maintain proper polarity hookup with the Type B Interface Module, Part Number 847490-106, in the TLS monitor. Refer to Figure 63, "Type B Sensor Wiring Diagram." 10. Seal wire nuts with epoxy sealant using one bag for two wire nut connections and another bag for the third wire nut connection. (Refer to Figure 58, "Epoxy Sealant for Three -Wire Connections.") CAUTION: IF MORE THAN TWO WIRE NUT CONNECTIONS SHARE AN EPDXY SEALANT BAG, THE CONNECTIONS WILL NOT BE PROP- ERLY SEALED. IMPROPER SEALING OF THE CONNECTIONS WILL RESULT IN INACCURATE SENSOR READINGS AND POSSIBLE FALSE ALARM CONDITIONS. WWARNING: EPDXY SEALANT MAY BE IRRI- • TATING TO EYES AND SKIN. MAY CAUSE SKIN SENSITIZATION IN SUSCEPTIBLE IN- DIVIDUALS. MAY BE ABSORBED THROUGH THE SKIN. EPDXY SEALANT CONTAINS EP- OXY RESIN AND VINYL CYCLOHEXENE DI- OXIDE. CONTAINMENT SUMP SENSOR (TYPE B) INSTALLATION The containment sump sensor comes with the following installation hardware: 1 - Cable, including connector, Part No. 576006-750 1 - Installation Kit, Part No. 312020-969 Mounting brackets must be ordered from the con- tainment sump manufacturer. A. GENERAL. Before you install the containment sump sensor, consider the following important requirements: 1. The sensor should rest in the lowest point of the MW containment sump. 2. The sensor must be positioned as close to the contain- ment sump outer wall as possible.
