Eleventh St., Tracy, CA <br />During recent underground tank proceedings, indications of soil <br />contamination have been documented by soil analyses collected by <br />an State certified independent laboratory. (copy attached) <br />In view of the concerns identified in trhe lab analyses, it will be <br />necessary for you to initiate an assessment of the property to define <br />the area (vertical and horizontal) extent of contamination. This <br />assessment shall be supervised by a California Registered Geologist <br />or Certified Engineering Geologist, or Civil or Professional Engineer <br />licensed in California. Enclosed is our recommended format for pre- <br />paration and submittal of proposals. <br />Approval of your tank repair application is subject to a review by <br />the Health District of your preliminary site assessment report. <br />Please respond no later than 30 days from the date of this letter <br />confirming your selection of an appropriate licensed individual <br />and/or firm. The subsequent work plan should be prepared and submit- <br />ted no later than 60 days from the date of this letter. <br />If you have any questions regarding this matter, please contact Diane <br />M.
