Tours of the plant are periodically conducted for visitors and customers, therefore each department manager <br /> or Team Leader will be responsible for ensuring that these guests goto the "assembly" <br /> area or <br /> aro er safe <br /> P p <br /> area should they be in the facility at the time of an emergency. <br /> • Assemble in the emergency gathering area for your building. Failure to do so may result in emergency <br /> personnel assuming you are still in the building. If relocation is necessary,instructions will be given at the <br /> gathering area. <br /> • Emergency Head Count <br /> The department Manager or Team Leader is responsible for accounting for all employees in their work area as <br /> well as any visitors. In the event of an evacuation, it will be their responsibility to take a headcount to ensure <br /> everyone is accounted for and to report this accounting to the Human Resource Manager after their <br /> department has evacuated the emergency site to the Assembly Area. <br /> — If Team Leader is unavailable,appointed Leadman should take roll call. <br /> — Assemble by department for a role call. <br /> — Do not go to your car. <br /> — Do not smoke. <br /> — Do not leave the emergency gathering area until dismissed by your Team Leader. <br /> — Do not re-enter the building until it has been cleared by the management and emergency services. <br /> FIRST AID PROCEDURES <br /> • Make the injured party as comfortable as possible. <br /> • If the injury involves neck or spine damages do not attempt to move the injured party. Only move employee if <br /> he/she is in danger of further injuries. <br /> • Have your Team Leader obtain necessary supplies from the first aid kits. Sign the first aid kit log. <br /> • When providing assistance be sure to use Personal Protective Equipment(PPE). Do not expose yourself to <br /> the injured person's blood or other body fluids. If you are exposed to another person's body fluids,you must <br /> immediately contact the Human Resources Department. <br /> • Notify your Team Leader or the Human Resources Department as soon as possible. <br /> • Get assistance as necessary: <br /> — Have a supervisor use the intercom system to announce the evacuation,if available. <br /> — If a supervisor is not available,use the intercom system by dialing#94. When using the intercom system <br /> it is critical that you speak slowly, clearly and loudly. <br /> — If the telephone intercom system fails,have employees with a radio system notify Team Leaders of <br /> evacuation. <br /> 3 <br />
