— Immediately report to the main aisles and wait for your Team Leader to relocate you to a safely lit area or <br /> a location that will be safe if the emergency lights falter. <br /> — Remain at this location until power has been restored or your Team Leader dismisses you. <br /> EARTHQUAKE <br /> • Take cover under a doorway,table,desk or other solid object. Use caution. Position yourself to avoid falling <br /> cabinets or glass. <br /> • After the earthquake,inspect your work area for structural damage,gas leaks, damaged electrical equipment, <br /> or chemical spill. <br /> • If it can be done safely, shut off any gas lines or electrical circuits that may have failed. <br /> • Evacuate the building if any serious damage to the building is observed,or if conditions are unsafe. <br /> • Immediately contact your Team Leader if any damage has occurred or dangerous situation exists. <br /> WORKPLACE VIOLENCE <br /> • Immediately notify your Team Leader if an unauthorized person(s)enters the facility. <br /> • Any acts of physical violence or verbal threats are to be immediately reported to your Team Leader or the <br /> Human Resources Department. <br /> • Armed intruders: <br /> — Never challenge an armed intruder. Remain calm. Do exactly what the intruder demands. <br /> — If possible, evacuate the area or lock yourself in an area inaccessible to the intruder. <br /> — Never follow or chase a fleeing intruder. <br /> • Bomb Threats <br /> — Remain calm. <br /> — If on the phone,keep the person talking. Listen for accents or background noises that may help identify <br /> the caller or the caller's location. <br /> — Try to get the caller to reveal the location of the bomb,what it looks like, when it is set to detonate and <br /> what will cause it to explode. <br /> — Immediately contact a Team Leader or Business Unit Manager and begin the evacuation process. <br /> 0 — Do NOT touch,open,or handle any suspicious packages. Immediately inform a Team Leader of any <br /> suspicious objects after the evacuation. <br /> 8 <br />
