Consider deleting this point, to avoid confusion.] <br />® Avoid skin contact and inhalation <br />Safeway employees will proceed with the following only for small spills (define??) other than protecting storm <br />drains; for large spills contract responders will clean up releases. <br />® Put on required PPE (personal protective clothing) <br />Splash proof chemical goggles and face shield <br />Rubber gloves <br />Rubber boots <br />Protective clothing/slickers (both upper and lower body) <br />An eye wash/shower or running water should be in the area — if not, have bottles of eyewash available <br />® Position leaking container(s) so as to stop further leakage or place in plastic bin <br />® If necessary, build retention dike using absorbent boom <br />® Mop up or clean up with scrubber; dispose to a sanitary sewer drain after receiving approval from <br />Distribution Center Safety/Environmental Supervisor and/or Nor Cal Food Safety/Environmental Affairs <br />Manager [?????] <br />
