Chronology <br /> 26500 Nowell Road, Thornton <br /> 01/21/97 Letter sent this date by Fugro West to PHSIEHD, requesting site closure. <br /> 02/03/97 PHSIEHD letter response sent this date stating that the request for <br /> closure should be submitted in a detailed report as outlined in the Tri- <br /> Regional Guidelines, Appendix B. <br /> 07/27/97 The last of five groundwater monitoring events which have been <br /> performed at this site occurred this date. Analytical results all reported as <br /> non-detect. <br /> 02/16/98 ENSR, consultant to the RP, sent correspondence to SWRCB Cleanup <br /> Fund; petition for case closure review. <br /> 09/14/98 SWRCB response to the request for closure review, directing the RP to <br /> submit the previously requested closure report to PHSIEHD. <br /> 11/13/98 Request For No Further Action report submitted to PHSIEHD by ENSR. <br /> 01/06/99 PHSIEHD correspondence sent this date denying closure and requesting <br /> completion,of the vertical assessment of soil, the lateral and vertical <br /> assessment of water at proper depth and a complete well survey. <br /> 04/12/99 SWRCB correspondence to PHSIEHD, notification of reactivation of the <br /> petition for closure, request for copy of the complete file and statement of <br /> • PHSIEHD position,on potential case closure. <br /> 05/04/99 PHSIEHD response and copy of complete site file sent to SWRCB. <br /> 12/31/99 PHSIEHD review of Closure Report for adjacent UST site (26200 Galt <br /> Road). Former UST locations at these two sites are about 75 feet apart. <br /> A monitoring well was installed in the UST area of 26200 Galt Road with <br /> a screened interval of 30-40 feet. The groundwater sample on 7119199 <br /> from this well was non-detect. Soil samples from a hydropunch boring on <br /> 3126198 in the same area as the monitoring well were non-detect for <br /> contaminants from 35-56 feet below surface grade. This information and <br /> the other site information indicates that the contamination at this site is <br /> limited. <br />
