Before Tri
Valley Growers selects, (and pays) SECOR to develop a full, remediation plan TVG
would like to invite'San Joa iiin Count Public Health Department to comment on
q.. Y P
the concept.
General Plan
Groundwater movement in the area of the Plant T forklift shop is not rapid. .
Seasonal infiltration by rain; onto the exposed soils in and around the former
underground tank location may be significant as to move the residual contamination.
SECOR recommends the prevention of infiltration into the soils in and around the
former tank site.
To further control and remove residual hydrocarbons SECOR recommends increased
groundwater recovery, with a groundwater drainage system. SECOR proposes to
perform bioremediation upon the excavated soils.
The water extracted by the drainage system would require evaluation for potential
treatment. The type and scope of treatment would be based upon the concentrations
of petroleum hydrocarbons found in the extracted water.
# SECOR proposes 'to develop a groundwater monitoring plan utilizing existing
monitoring wells on-site.
P.D.Boa 7114, Battery SL.,SaulFhw6scv, CaMonva 9412V-7114 Phone:(41S)44.16W Teles:27-9046 Fay(415)445-1628
t
