Tri-Valley Meeting <br /> Page 2 <br /> PHS/EHD contacted Merced County Environmental Health on May 26, 1994 and was <br /> informed that Tri-Valley had discussed with Merced County performing their own <br /> sampling. In March 1994, Merced County suggested that Tri-Valley submit a proposed <br /> sampling plan for evaluation which, to date, has not been received. <br /> PHS/EHD contacted Stanislaus County Hazardous Materials on May 27, 1994 and was <br /> informed that there were no Local Oversight Program sites that are being sampled by <br /> Tri-Valley for TPH or volatile organic compounds. <br /> If you wish to have quarterly monitoring samples collected by Tri-Valley from the <br /> monitoring wells, please submit a sampling plan including procedures and qualifications <br /> k for PHS/EHD review. <br /> Former Plant K: 11;South "A" Street <br /> The open monitoring well/borehole was discussed. Tri-Valley agreed that a permit to <br /> destroy the borehole will be submitted within 2 weeks. They are still in negotiations with <br /> Plant K Partners and the current property owner regarding sharing the costs of <br /> investigation and remediation.
